A 12-year-old boy in Portugal carried out a knife attack at a school, resulting in injuries to at least five students and one teacher. The boy reportedly entered the school and began stabbing people indiscriminately. While none of the injuries are considered life-threatening, one girl was taken to the hospital in serious condition. The incident occurred in Azambuja, a town located about 50 kilometers (31 miles) northeast of Lisbon. The police are involved in the case.
