A child has died and two others were injured after they were thrown from a tube being pulled by a jet ski in a Florida lake, officials said. A spokesperson for the Putnam County Sheriff’s Office said rescue crews were called to Star Lake in Hawthorne on Tuesday afternoon. Hawthorne is about 110 miles north of Orlando.
