An 18-year-old, formerly a minor at the time, has pleaded guilty to murder in a shooting that occurred on August 25, 2023, in Independence, resulting in the death of Seth Burns. The victim was airlifted to University of Cincinnati Medical Center, where he later died. Jackie Turner, now an adult, was accused of the murder and entered the guilty plea in adult court.
