– On December 20, a newborn girl was found dead inside a dustbin at a park outside Rajat Vihar Society in Sector 62. There is no sign of her parents, said Station House Officer Amit Kumar. – On December 2, a two-day-old girl child was found dead in a drain in Noida’s Baraula area under the Sector 49 police station.
To prevent such cases and help save infants, Gautam Buddh Nagar’s Child Welfare Committee has suggested setting up cradles outside every district hospital and primary health care centre in the district.
