DESE finds Amherst Regional High School short on learning hours in state complaint

The Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education released their findings in a state complaint decision with the Amherst Regional High School. DESE found that high school students at Amherst Regional High School fell nearly 95 hours short of what they classify as structured learning hours. The discrepancy between the hours comes from what the school calls “flex block.”
