New technology is making its way into some Florida schools as districts explore drones as a tool to respond to threats such as school shootings. Campus Guardian, a company founded by CEO Angel Justin Marston, has been demonstrating how drones could be deployed in active shooter scenarios. Marston said the technology can be triggered by different alerts, such as a report of someone with a gun outside a building or a threat inside a classroom.
