Just three days into the new school year, and one Guilford County mom is worried about reliable school transportation for her twin boys who have special needs. On Wednesday afternoon, she waited 40 minutes for a school bus that never showed up as her kindergarten twins, who have autism, were taken to the wrong location. The mom, Kandace Alston, said her children were on a bus with a different number than the one her children were assigned, and taken to a daycare — which said those children were not supposed to be there.
