The head of a Madhya Pradesh government board has proposed a cash reward of Rs 1 lakh each to Brahmin couples who decide to have four children. Addressing an event in Indore on Sunday, Pandit Vishnu Rajoria, the president of Parshuram Kalyan Board, said it was important for Brahmin couples to have four children to “protect Sanatana Dharma”.
“As an individual, I made this announcement of giving this reward. Brahmin couples will be bearing all the responsibility of upbringing of their children,” said Rajoria, who also holds a state cabinet minister rank
