In 2004, I chose a teaching job over a private equity position, feeling that private equity’s demanding hours would be detrimental to my well-being. My teaching career has mainly involved working with students with special educational needs, despite lacking formal training in this area. My role has often required creative approaches to meet the unique needs of each student.
