Lansing School District denies wrongdoing in teacher’s lawsuit over support for students

The Lansing School District denied all claims a former Everett High School teacher made in a lawsuit regarding the district’s handling of accommodations for students with disabilities.

In October, the district answered the complaint and denied it “‘failed to address’ any issues regarding (Individualized Education Program) accommodations,” and said that “to the extent any student experiences academic or behavioral difficulties, those issues are addressed in a timely and appropriate manner.”
