A suspected human trafficking syndicate member allegedly lured 15 children in Nasarawa State with promises of free education before selling them for ₦30 million, according to the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps. The suspect reportedly posed as an official of a child rights organisation and used a supposed “Back to School Project” and orphanage programme to convince parents to hand over their children.
