Authorities believe a woman was driving under the influence when she fatally struck her 5-year-old grandson while pulling out of a driveway in Slidell. Kristen Anders, 56, was arrested and faces a charge of vehicle homicide in connection with the incident, which occurred shortly after 7 a.m. Tuesday in the 300 block of Spartan Loop.
