Volunteers from Junior Achievement of Southeastern Michigan visited Taft-Galloway Elementary in Wayne, Michigan, to teach students financial literacy, entrepreneurship, and career readiness. Beth O’Connor, Vice President of Programmes, emphasised the importance of starting financial education early to avoid students falling behind in high school. The organisation aims to engage students through interactive activities, teaching them about budgeting, needs vs. wants, and community impact. Junior Achievement plans to expand its programmes in metro Detroit, focusing on guiding children towards a successful future.
