March 1 2024- Sonja Gedde, a high school administrator and affiliate professor of pedagogy at Colorado State University, brings a wealth of experience to her role. With a background as an English teacher, gifted-talented coordinator, Multi-Tiered System of Supports intervention director, high school dean of students, and summer school principal, she is deeply involved in co-creating an inspiring school culture. Currently working at a diversifying high school in northern Colorado, Gedde is focused on addressing community fractures through the implementation of restorative practices. These approaches aim to build relationships and respond to conflicts through dialogue and amends-making, reflecting a commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive school environment.
