< 1 min read

The Virginia Board of Medicine has suspended Dr. Dalton Renick’s medical license following allegations of inappropriate sexual behavior during patient visits. Renick, 32, worked at Carilion Children’s Pediatric Medicine in Roanoke until February 2024, and at New Beginnings Pediatrics in Blacksburg until recently. He is accused of using inappropriate language and making sexually explicit comments during appointments with children and their parents. Reports also include allegations of racist comments and unprofessional behavior. The Virginia Department of Health Professionals (DHP) is investigating, and the Virginia Board of Medicine will hold a hearing before deciding on further disciplinary actions.
