An unknown number of Patterson Middle School staff and students were injured Friday morning in what the Killeen school is calling an isolated incident.
Principal Christina Harris told parents in a notice on Friday that a student had acted aggressively in a “moment of distress,” and that the injured were treated by the school’s nurse.
“I want to assure you that the safety and well-being of our students and staff remain our top priority,” Harris said in the message, adding that while the student had said they had a weapon, no weapon had been found.
