A Queensland surfing coach will spend Christmas behind bars after being arrested on child sex abuse charges for the second time in a week.
Connor John Christopher Lyons, 26, was initially arrested on Sunday and charged with 12 counts of indecent treatment of children on the Sunshine Coast and Gold Coast.
He was released on bail on Monday with conditions, including that clients of his “learn-to-surf” business must be aged 17 or older.
Detectives investigating the matter arrested Mr Lyons again on Wednesday and charged him with a further 14 offences, including making child exploitation material, grooming, and damaging evidence with intent.
