A 15-year-old from Texas is in custody after police say he ingested a large amount of marijuana then shot his mother and 17-year-old sister multiple times.
The incident happened around 11 p.m. Saturday at an apartment complex in Houston. Police say the 15-year-old suspect called 911 saying he was either going to kill someone or kill himself. First responders went to the scene, with firefighters being the first to arrive.
Firefighters spotted the 15-year-old in the parking lot with a gun. Police say the teen pointed the gun at them and said he had just killed someone before he threw the gun toward them and ran off. Police arrived shortly after, chased down the teen and took him into custody.
