A recall has been issued for a children’s pop-up mini beach tent which is sold on Temu.
The product, which is made by Yiqisheng Outdoor and features a small built-in pool, has been recalled as it does not comply with the mandatory standard for portable swimming pools.
Purchasers could choose between a shark tent and a blue and yellow tent.
“The products do not have the required warning signs,” Product Safety Australia said in the recall notice.
“Risk of serious injury or death from drowning if consumers are not aware of these hazards.”
Anyone who has purchased the product sold between October 5 and October 28 last year stop using the product immediately and contact Temu seller Yiqisheng Outdoor to request a refund.
