The Washington Police Department and EMS are holding a donation drive to help four children in time for Christmas.
The children were removed from their home after a couple was arrested on child endangerment charges. Police and EMS organized the donation drive and began accepting items over the weekend.
“Members of the community have been reaching out asking how they can help and with the permission of family, we are working together to give the community an opportunity to support these kids,” Washington Chief of Police Jim Lester and Washington Fire/EMS Chief Brendan DeLong said.
