Parenting in the 21st century has deep dependencies on technology. From apps that tell you how much your baby should be eating to iPads that keep your kids entertained on road trips, screen time is almost unavoidable. But another element of technology that has entered the group chat is social media, and for parents, especially those who grew up with these platforms, sharing and posting their life and their child’s life online is commonplace these days. It’s so widespread and accepted now that the practice has earned the name sharenting.
