New York City students have begun their summer break, with plans already underway for the upcoming school year. Mayor Eric Adams and NYC Schools Chancellor David Banks are set to introduce DIAL (Division of Inclusive and Accessible Learning) starting this fall. DIAL aims to support multilingual students and those with disabilities. Additionally, NYC Solves, a new math initiative, will focus on practical math concepts applicable to everyday life. Mayor Adams has allocated $750 million towards DIAL and plans to deploy 1,300 staff members to expand these educational programs.
