Abducted Medical Student Cries Out From Captivity, Reveals Demand of Abductors

One of the 20 medical and dental students abducted in Benue State has cried for help, revealing that their captors are demanding a ransom of N50 million for their release. Kwaghaondo Aondona Kingsley, a 20-year-old medical student, took to social media to alert the public of their situation, stating that the group had gone without food for two days.
Kingsley tweeted that he and 19 other medical students were kidnapped while traveling to Enugu for a convention. The kidnappers are demanding 50 million naira for their release. They have not eaten for two days, and Pius, reachable at 08163420157, is handling the funds.
Kingsley warned that the kidnappers have threatened to start killing the students if their demands are not met by tomorrow. The students, from the University of Maiduguri and University of Jos, were ambushed by gunmen around 5:30 p.m. in the Otukpo area of Benue State.
