A tragic incident in Namibia’s Zambezi Region has left the community in shock, as four young children aged 3 to 6 suffocated after becoming trapped in an unused freezer. While playing, they accidentally locked themselves inside, unable to open the latch from within. One parent discovered the situation after finding the children’s shoes nearby. Two children were pronounced dead at the scene, and the other two died shortly after being taken to the hospital.
