Multiple schools in West Virginia could close Thursday

The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for several regions in West Virginia, effective from midnight tonight until 8 PM EST Thursday. The affected counties include Southeast Webster, Northwest Pocahontas, Southeast Randolph, Eastern Preston, and Eastern Tucker. Residents in these areas should prepare for snow accumulations ranging from 2 to 5 inches, accompanied by wind gusts reaching up to 55 mph.
