Several Southwest Michigan school districts secured funding through millages and bonds approved by voters in Tuesday’s general election, with St. Joseph Public Schools receiving the largest allocation at nearly $60 million. Brandywine Community Schools passed a sinking fund renewal that includes a $1 million increase over 10 years. The fund will support building renovations, safety and security upgrades, instructional technology and transportation.
