A seven-year-old boy has been hailed a hero after saving his friend from choking – using skills he had been taught at Scouts. Harry from Aldbourne in Wiltshire jumped into action in his school hall when he realised his classmate had a piece of sausage stuck in his throat. “A boy was choking at lunch and I back-slapped him,” Harry said. “I went to the teacher and said ‘the boy’s choking’. I feel thankful for myself that I listened [in Beavers.]”
