February 19 2024- An 8-year-old girl from Detroit, known as Rosie White, has gained attention on social media for her impressive impersonations of Black icons, including Harriet Tubman, Whoopi Goldberg, Tina Turner, and Oprah Winfrey. Rosie recently caught Oprah’s eye, leading to an invitation to join her on the red carpet at the premiere of “The Color Purple” in December 2023. Oprah extended the invitation during a Zoom call, informing Rosie that she would be walking the purple carpet with her family. The young impersonator, along with her mother and sister, received the star treatment for her remarkable talents.
