NYC Schools Ban AI for More Than 500,000 Students From 2-K Through Eighth Grade

More than half a million students in New York City’s public schools will face a sweeping new artificial intelligence ban as the nation’s largest school district begins restricting AI use from 2-K through eighth grade in the 2026–2027 academic year.
