Eleven-year-old Trinity Kornas from Wisconsin was awarded “Sister of the Year” after she bravely saved her seven siblings from a house fire. Home alone while their mother was out, Trinity noticed smoke and activated their family’s safety plan, guiding everyone outside before calling for help. Thanks to a closed door, the fire was contained, preventing more extensive damage. The cause of the fire is still under investigation, and the family has launched a GoFundMe to support their recovery.
