Two juveniles were taken to the hospital, and two dogs were rescued from a house fire on Thursday night in South Bend. It happened around 10 p.m. at a home in the 1100 block of Diamond Avenue. Firefighters say it took them about 10 minutes to bring the fire in the front room of the first floor under control. Five people were reportedly inside the home at the time of the fire, but they were able to get out before firefighters arrived.
