An investigation is ongoing after a 2-year-old drowned in a pool on Friday afternoon, officials in Georgia said. The attorney for Poppy Pepper’s family, Natanya Brooks, said the girl was at the Oakhurst pool in Decatur for a kickoff event for her older brother’s swim team. Brooks said Poppy was full of joy and never met a stranger.
