The ACLU of New Hampshire and Massachusetts filed a lawsuit Wednesday challenging the Trump administration’s letter directing schools to ban diversity, equity, and inclusion or risk losing federal funding. The four-page letter sent by the U.S. Department of Education (ED) on Feb. 14 gave schools nationwide two weeks to stop engaging in DEI efforts before “appropriate measures,” including taking away federal funding, would be taken.
