The fifth annual ‘Ride for Heroes’ event, hosted by the American Legion Post 298 in Springfield, took place Sunday afternoon. More than 100 riders took their motorcycles out around Calhoun County to support first responders, including police, EMS, fire, medical employees, veterans, and active military members.
