The Guam Department of Education (GDOE) is prioritizing getting all 24,000 students back in classrooms. Recently, more schools passed sanitary inspections, including Okkodo High School and F.B. Leon Guerrero Middle School, which will reopen for face-to-face classes. Schools still pending inspection include Southern High School, Machananao Elementary, George Washington High School, and Finegayan Elementary. Inspections for these schools are ongoing, with results expected soon. As of Thursday, students are learning in-person, online, or on alternating schedules. To support these schedules, GDOE has implemented grab-and-go meal programs for students, with about 195 requesting home delivery.
