All Howard County public schools will open two hours late Tuesday, Jan. 21, 2025, due to forecasted temperatures and overnight refreezing. All morning sessions of half-day Pre-K and RECC are canceled.
HCPSS will reevaluate conditions by 7:30 a.m. and only a change in the two-hour delay status will be communicated.
High schools were scheduled for an early dismissal, which is now canceled. High school students instead will go in on the two-hour delay and schools will dismiss at their standard time of 2:35 p.m. There will be no ARL classes.
