MTN backs Borno schools’ digital literacy agenda with tablet

MTN Nigeria Communications Plc on Wednesday donated 750 digital tablets to 15 secondary schools across Borno State. Arewa PUNCH reports that the distribution formula had each of the 15 schools getting 50 Tablets each. Speaking during the symbolic handover in Maiduguri, the state capital, the MTN Acting Managing Director covering Borno, Yobe and Gombe state, Tijanni Salihu urged  school principals and teachers not to only see the tablets as tools but as a catalyst that ignites curiosity and promotes learning in new and engaging ways.
