A non-governmental organisation, Slum and Rural Aid for African Child Development Initiative, has empowered 73 rural children in Ekiti State with literacy, digital and leadership skills. The Executive Director of SARAFACDI, Blessing Dada, disclosed this at the conclusion of the 2025 Learning Village Camp in Irasa Community, Ado-Ekiti, according to a statement shared with Sunday PUNCH. He said the 11-day camp, held from September 2 to 12, was designed to tackle learning poverty among disadvantaged children and coincided with International Literacy Day on September 8.
