The Nigerian Army has launched an investigation into an allegation of sexual abuse involving a serving officer, Cap Etim Essien, following claims concerning a 13-year-old child in Jos, Plateau State, as the military says it is taking the allegation seriously and working to establish the facts surrounding the case.
