NYC parents demand more zoned high schools to prioritize neighborhood students

Parents on the Citywide Council for High Schools voted in favor of a resolution urging the city to expand zoned high schools to ensure more students have access to seats in their neighborhood schools. Sponsored by Brooklyn representative Linda Quarles, the resolution aims to address some of the challenges families face with high school admissions, though it is recognized as just one piece of the solution.
