A 51-year-old man from San Marcos was sentenced to life in prison after he was found guilty of continuous sexual abuse of a child, according to a press release. The jury found Javier Ortega Gonzalez guilty after evidence revealed he abused a child over the course of several years. That child was around 5-years-old when the abuse started, the release said.
