Two people were charged after multiple children were found living in a Barbour County home where the floor was rotting “due to the moisture of the dog urine.” On July 8, deputies with the Barbour County Sheriff’s Department were asked to assist Belington Police with a direct complaint taken by the police department, according to a criminal complaint. According to the Belington Police, an approximately 8-year-old child “asked for food” and said, “I can’t have food because I didn’t do my chores,” deputies said.
