The death of a female teacher in Zamfara State has sparked concerns about the safety and protection of children whose education depends on the presence of teachers in secure learning environments. A teacher at Government Girls’ Day Secondary School Tudun Wada, Gusau, Zainab Abdullahi, was reportedly killed after being hit by a Nigerian Army vehicle as she was making her way to school.
