A growing number of Colorado students attend a different school from the one their district assigns

Nearly 40% of Colorado public school students, more than 347,000 children in preschool through high school, are opting to attend a different school than the one assigned to them by their home school district — a sign that Colorado families have a strong appetite for school choice decades after it was introduced in Colorado, school choice proponents say.
