A former Mount Pleasant nanny accused of exploiting children in his care appeared in federal court Wednesday for a preliminary hearing. Brandon Brill, 26, is facing a 10-count federal indictment alleging he used his position as a childcare provider to produce and attempt to produce child sexual abuse material, as well as coerce and entice children. The offenses involved children he babysat or lived near, and could carry a potential life sentence if he is convicted, prosecutors said.
