Indiana Lawmakers Vote to Ban Cellphones in Classrooms — Could Children Lose All Control Over Their Phones?

In a move that could shake up schools across Indiana, lawmakers passed Senate Bill 78 on Jan. 20, sending it to the House with a 28-19 vote. If approved, the law would ban cellphone use in classrooms, even though students can currently use phones outside class.
