As a clinical psychologist, I’ve gained deep insights into various human experiences such as anxiety, parenting, relationships, grief, and identity. Now, facing the transition of my own child graduating high school and preparing for college—a journey I’ve guided clients through—I realize firsthand the challenges involved. Reflecting on my early career in college counseling, I recall pivotal moments and lessons learned from students’ experiences, aiming now to share insights for supporting others in similar situations.
