Massachusetts prosecutors are facing a crucial decision after the state’s highest court overturned the murder conviction of Latarsha Sanders, who was sentenced to two life terms for the deaths of her two children. The court ruled that Sanders was denied a fair trial after jurors were not given access to her complete psychiatric history, leaving the Plymouth County District Attorney’s Office to decide whether to retry the case or take another course of action.
