A 17-year-old from Cardiff was arrested in connection with the stabbing that occurred at a Taylor Swift-themed event in Southport. The suspect faces charges of murder and attempted murder. Police confirmed that the attack, which involved the suspect entering the dance school with a knife, resulted in multiple children and adults being injured.
The stabbing incident took place near a Taylor Swift-themed yoga and dance class at Hart Space, which was for children ages 6 to 11. Police believe that the injured adults were attempting to protect the children during the attack. Authorities said the motive remains unclear and the attack is not being treated as terror-related.
