The Minister of Defence, Gen. Christopher Musa (retd.), has said that expanding access to quality education remains one of the most effective strategies for countering terrorism and violent extremism in Nigeria. He described the country’s security challenges as an asymmetric war, warning that terrorist groups often rely on radicalization and misinformation, making education a critical tool in weakening their influence.
